This can of sustainably-sourced bristling sardines in spring water is fished with small purse seine nets in the north of Scotland, just off the coastline. Fish4Ever only catch their sardines when theyre fatter, tastier, and higher in omega 3. Only organic ingredients are ever added from the land. Try them on toast, or on exceptionally good bread with tomato sauce or lemon, to know exactly how sardines should truly taste.
We fish and pack this smaller species of sardines locally on the North Coast of Scotland where it is most common. The fish is very delicate, mid-size between an anchovy and a sardine. We pack our spratts in nothing but local Scottish spring water adding only a little salt. High in Omega 3. Low in salt.
