Let me tell you a bit about this family run business, established in 1994, based in Leicestershire in the UK's East Midlands, not so far from us, which gives us the opportunity to build a great relationship with them. They specialise in the design, manufacture, import, export and wholesale of fair trade, educational, wooden toys for preschool and early years children.
They passionate about creating quality, educational toys that inspire children to learn through play, well…if you ask our team, it is so much fun for adults too, you should see our smiley faces, when a Lanka Kade delivery arrives to the shop!
The entire Lanka Kade toy range has been exclusively designed in-house in the UK to be handmade and crafted by skilled artisans in Sri Lanka. Their aim is to reduce poverty through trade. They build long term sustainable trading partnerships that provide stability and protect local skills. They offer advice, training and interest free loans to support business development. These are all fantastic goals as a business, we love this brand, not just because of the quality of their products but their amazing work for the people they work with.
